Tai Chi Farm . . . . a name that remains unique in taiji history. You
stand at the entrance to a website dedicated to the legendary Tai Chi
Farm and its late founder, taiji Master Jou Tsung Hwa. From 1984 to 1998,
the Tai Chi Farm served as a rare and special home, not only for Master
Jou but for countless visitors and students who came to the Farm to learn
taijiquan. Whether attending one of Master Jou's regular taiji classes,
or joining one of the many workshops held throughout the summer, visitors
never mistook the special nature of this 103 acre oasis for the internal
artist. The Tai Chi Farm also served as home to the annual Zhang San Feng
Festival, an event named for the legendary founder of taiji which brought
together hundreds of masters, instructors and students from all over the
country. The year 2000 saw its doors close forever but its memory will
always live on.
